MESCOM Engineer Syllabus & Pattern (Aptitude Test) 2016

Karnataka Electricity Board MESCOM Junior Engineer/ Asst Engineer/ Assistant Exam Syllabus & Pattern 2016. The Mangalore Electricity Supply Company has issued recruitment Advertisement for 441 Engineer Jobs February 2016. The Aptitude Test date is not fixed. We shall upload admit card with written exam of MESCOM Assistant Engineer (Electrical), Assistant Engineer (Civil), Assistant Accounts Officer, Junior Engineer (Elec.), Junior Engineer (Civil.), Assistant, Junior Assistant exam date 2016. The candidate can purchase goods books to practice for aptitude test.


Recruitment of Asst Engineer/ Junior Engineer and other post shall be made purely on the basis of the marks secured in the Aptitude Test, duly following reservation policy of Government of Karnataka.

Aptitude Test of MESCOM Electricity Board.

Aptitude Test of two (2) hours duration will be conducted for 100 marks with multiple choice answers. Each question will carry One (1) mark. There will be negative marking and 0.25 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer. There will be no marks for unanswered question. The candidates will have mark on the OMR answer sheets.

Exam Centers of MESCOM Aptitude Test 2016.

Candidates will have to appear for the Aptitude Test in any one of the following preferred centers:

  1. Mangaluru
  2. Udupi
  3. Shivamogga
  4. Chikamagaluru
  5. Others

Candidates may indicate any two centers in the order of their preference. In case of inability to consider their options nearest test center to the preferred center will be allotted.

List of eligible candidates for Aptitude Test along with other details viz., date, time & venue will be published in MESCOM Web Site at a later date (i.e.,

Kannada Language Test:

Candidates should have studied Kannada as one of the subjects in SSLC or equivalent examination.

Those who have not studied Kannada such candidates are required to pass a Kannada Language Test. Candidates who pass the Kannada Language test only will be eligible for selection process.

Note: Candidates who have passed the SSLC examination or any examination declared as equivalent to by the State Government or any examination higher than SSLC examination in which Kannada is the main language or second language or an optional subject (but not one of the subject in a composite paper) or if they have studied & passed in Kannada medium are exempted from passing the compulsory Kannada language test”.

Date and venue of Kannada language test will be intimated separately through MESCOM Website.
